With over 15 years of recruitment experience, Katie brings a rare combination of global expertise and deep local knowledge to Search Recruitment’s skilled industrial desk. Originally from the UK, she made the move to Nelson 13 years ago and has never looked back.

Katie specialises in connecting businesses across Marlborough, Nelson, and Tasman with skilled talent across Supply Chain, Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics, and primary industries. She understands the unique demands of these sectors and the people who work in them because she has spent her career working alongside them.

Katie understands both sides of the hiring equation. With experience in industry, business, and recruitment, she knows what employers need and what candidates are looking for. Combined with countless conversations over coffee along the way, she has developed a genuine ability to connect with people and make the recruitment process feel straightforward, effective, and enjoyable.

Outside of work, Katie loves spending time with her husband, her two boys, and their wee dog Frankie. As a family, they’re always keen for a classic Kiwi camping adventure!
